The County Fair

Last night, Greg and I went with Stacey and Dan to the fair.
We did some walking around,
checked out the vendors and the 4-H stuff,
had some greasy fair food,
all while we waited for the hypnotist show to start.
We we all excited when Greg was picked to participate.
He was hilarious, and totally stole the show!
(of course!)
Here are some photos...

This pic is out of place, but it's Greg and Jerry the Hypnotist
And then there was the end, and if any of you have seen a hypno show,
you know that just before he brings them all back, he gives them each
a word and when he says that word, they will do something
that usually makes the people look dumb or funny.
Well, Greg got the word "romance" and when he heard that word,
he had to go into the audience, find his wife, and passionately kiss her.
Jerry said the word, and off Greg went....

We had quite the make out session in front of everyone.

Jerry told me to raise my hand when I had enough.

I obviously didn't raise my hand.

And Jerry finally said "Hey Greg!"

And Greg stopped and looked over at him, then back at me, and acted like he didn't know what was going on! It was too funny!

We wouldn't tell anyone the truth that he really wasn't hypnotized. Every really got a good laugh from him performance last night. The show was recorded and we were able to buy the DVD!

Then we went for an elephant ear and some rides!

Here are Dan and Stacey on the drop ride.

Too bad this really isn't an action shot! They were practicing their scared faces for the camera.

Greg and I were totally calm and ready for our ride to begin :)

It was only a little scary when the thing kept popping as we went around. We thought we were totally going to go flying off that thing. (Carnival rides can be kinda creepy, huh!)

No one tossed their cookies last night, but one more ride would have probably done a couple of us in!

It was a fun night!!

Weekend In Leavenworth

This past weekend was my
birthday trip to Leavenworth
This is my second time going and
I really can't wait to go again!
It is such an adorable little town!
We were going to start Saturday morning
off tubing down the river, but decided
against it when the weather turned out to
be a little cooler then we would have liked.
But it was so nice for walking around during the day.
There are so many fun shops!
The Taffy Shop, where I picked out all of
my favorite taffy flavors.
We went and had our picture taken at the
Old Fashioned photography place.
Unfortunately, I don't have a scanner so
I can't show the picture, but it turned out great!

Here we are in front of a bunch of barrels.

This barber shop chair is over 100 years old.
We though it was pretty cool.

The happy crew!

We went to 2 theater shows. The first was indoor,
in the afternoon. And the second was outdoor in the evening.
Greg used to perform with Leavenworth summer theater,
so it was fun for me to see what he used to do.

Waiting for the play "Singing In The Rain" to start.

Sunday morning, Greg and I played 9 holes at the golf course.

It was so much fun! First time I have been golfing this year! The course was beautiful! I can't wait to go back!

It's such a great place to visit! I highly recommend it and can't wait to get some of my family up here to experience it!

My 27th Birthday!

So although I had to WORK on my birthday,
(first time in my whole life. never again)
it was one of the best I have ever had!
I got so spoiled!!
I came home to a bag full of candy,
a bouquet of balloons,

and this note, starting off a scavenger hunt for me!

I was sent all over the house,
and with each new clue, there was a great gift!
1 month unlimited tanning w/ goggles,
a gift certificate to a day sap for a pedicure and facial,
iTunes gift cards, a target gift card,
with the final treasure being..........

trip to Leavenworth next weekend including two theater shows,
tubing, and golfing! I have only been there once and have been begging
Greg to go back again. It's the cutest little town!
This pretty princess balloon was with the final surprise! Too sweet!

So happy!!

Kayleb wanted to make sure my goggles fit.

Greg wasn't home during my hunt, but arrived shortly after.
We then headed to dinner at PF Chang's (another favorite of mine!)
with Kayleb and Leslie

The after dinner, we headed home for some games and cake!
The cake was AWESOME! Just how I like it!
All white with LOTS of sprinkles!

(those beautiful flowers on the right were from Kayleb and Leslie!)

This pic is kinda scary. Greg scooped my up just a little too much ice cream!

What a awesome husband I have!!
It was a great birthday :)
