This year, our first Christmas together was spent in Washington
with the Rose side of the family. Although I missed being with my family in Idaho,
it was so much fun to join in all the fun and traditions with Greg's family.
I still can't believe how early we woke up when the youngest in the
house being in high school. It was about 7:45am when Kayleb came
bouncing in saying "It's Christmas!!"
And so the festivities began...

I was so lucky to get in on one of thebest things about the Rose Christmas -
the stocking
As you can see, they take stockings pretty seriously.
Santa packed ours with all sorts of goodies, games, and fun!
Once the presents were opened, we moved into the kitchen for a great breakfast. It's mostly prepared by the guys, but the girls helped out to get things moving.
We had all worked up quite the appetite.
After eggs, hash browns, sausage, bacon, cinnamon rolls, and orange julius'
we were all pretty stuffed and ready for a little nap!
And Hudson working on his shooting skills! After all the gifts were exchanged, we all moved into the kitchen again
to get going on the Christmas dinner.
After stuffing ourselves on some delicious food,
we ended the evening playing some games.
We had such a wonderful Christmas
and hope you all did as well!
