After about 2 long months, we are finally done
and have moved into our condo!
It was quite the process but totally worth it.
Be prepared for picture overload :)
I tried to put everything in order but I'm sure you
I tried to put everything in order but I'm sure you
all know how uncooperative blogger can be with pictures.
And yes, I used an 80's effect with all the before pictures!

Greg tore off all of the doors and the frames

And we put a fresh coat of white paint on
our sweet popcorn ceiling!

Painting.....

Painting.....
Greg found out as he was tearing up the linolium
that there were 3 different layers

He doesn't ever look at our blog anyway,

The day before we were to have our furniture delivered,

and it turned out pretty sweet!

He doesn't ever look at our blog anyway,
so I knew I could get away with posting some
behind pics!

Cutting the tile...

This next pic is way out of place. One of the last things we did

So, the place we bought our carpet actually ended up selling

This next pic is way out of place. One of the last things we did
was put all the wall plates back on. If you look close,
you can see that every screw is the same direction.
And you can bet that every other plate looks the exact same.
If you know Greg, this won't surprise you.
I even caught him with his level,
making sure they were all perfectly straight!
So, the place we bought our carpet actually ended up selling
it a little before we went to pick it up.
(We bought our carpet pretty much at the beginning)
We weren't too happy when we found this out,
especially because we matched everything based on the carpet colors,
and we had to order it in.
But because of their screw up, we actually got a
free upgrade in carpet. Not exactly the color we wanted,
but definatley nicer and softer.
The day before we were to have our furniture delivered,
Greg went paint shopping to find a darker brown to match
the carpet a little better. He found a color, and after painting an
accent wall he said
"hey, do you want to paint stripes on our big wall?"
so we did....
and it turned out pretty sweet!
Our new bathroom sink faucets

the old one

Please excuse the mess that is in some of these pics.
Our Christmas present to each other -
As you can tell (all the doors against the wall)

We are so excited to finally be in our new place and
the old one
We are still doing a little more unpacking.
our big tv :)
we still have some things to do. The doors need to be painted
and our new kitchen sink needs to be put in.
are eagerly awaiting any visitors that might want to travel
(near or far!) to come and check out our new place!
Oh, and see us too :)
